Each year, the Company’s Trends Council, which includes more than 50 experts including local food hunters and global buyers, releases their most anticipated food next year’s trends. Last year’s trend predictions included things like hibiscus, mocktail, and turmeric.

Plant-based foods, a growing interest in sustainable foods and practices, and the return of popular classics highlight potential new trends in 2023, according to a new report from Whole Foods Market. The report was created by the Retailer’s Trends Council made up of food industry experts.
